Friday was our helicopter trip to scout out some sites that we had trouble getting to otherwise and a chance to see the river from a different angle to get a feel for the whole. It was so awesome!
It was a 7 hour flight from Boulder City, NV to Imperial Wildlife Refuge, just north of Yuma, AZ. We had smooth flying the whole way and no one got sick- yay!

It was sucked out of the window when I had to lean out to take some photos straight down.
Ha! j/k I took it off to be able to take photos and deal with my camera. Since it didn't look like there was an immediate crashing/fire hazard, it seemed safe enough.
